The last end of the year goes so fast. It's hard to believe it's already nearing the end of December when this fall wedding seems like it was just a couple months ago. This one was at the Grande Isle Lake House on Lake Champlain. In typical Vermont fall fashion it was overcast which I will never complain about, although I actually welcome all weather for shooting (seriously, I'm secretly waiting for it to rain on a wedding day because it's so romantic and has such a quiet, tranquil feel. It has yet to happen at any of my weddings).
Minus the rain, this wedding did feel very quiet and tranquil (except for the party after). It was a perfectly small wedding. Sean and Hannah were wonderful to spend the day with. It was exactly my cup of tea and just how I thought it would be when Sean & Hannah were telling me about it in the spring.
Every wedding is so unique, each couple has their own personality and each day has its own mood. It's such a pleasure to be able to capture images that are true to each. Each time I walk away with treasured images that feel like new favorites, like their intimate first look on the beach.
And for those of you planning your own wedding, I highly recommend a first look! It's a great way to schedule in some alone time, just the two of you in what is always a busy day with lots of attending to guests. Having some you time is a good way to make sure you slow it all down so you can let it sink in and remember it all. And it's extremely romantic as you will see.
Without further ado, here it is, beautiful fall Lake Champlain wedding at the Grande Isle Lake House.
