Your wedding can go from good to spectacular by finding a wedding photographer, planner, caterer, and band that fit your style and vibe.
I am not just a vendor. I'm an artist. I care deeply about making sure my client's wedding memories are captured in the most beautiful way possible. My work is candid and journalistic. I capture intimate moments in a very real way. You want to find vendors for your wedding or elopement that share your values. By having a purpose and vision in mind when you start your day can be absolutely magical.
Hillary and Nick's intimate rustic Vermont wedding is an excellent example of this. Their vision was to be creative and support local businesses. They approached their wedding as extremely personal. And shouldn't a wedding of all things be extremely personal?
The best weddings I've had the absolute pleasure of documenting are all approached in a personal way. Every aspect was added as a conscious decision and as a personal representation of the couple's style. Not just doing the things everyone else is doing.
The food and drink were highlights of the day. The amazing Heirloom Fire catered the day. Bartenders were brought in from Brooklyn, New York. All the guests were comfortable and happy all day. You can check out Heirloom Fire on Netflix. They are featured on episode six of 'The World's Most Amazing Vacation Rentals'.
Hillary's gown from Anthropologie Bridal was sophisticated, classic, and timeless. The ceremony itself took place in an orchard. After the ceremony the couple shared a quiet moment alone together. This is now a practice I recommend to all my couples. After a few minutes I joined them to do some candid, informal photographs as they laughed together and even played on a rope swing.
Just as Hillary and Nick did, every choice is yours to make. You'll see many personal choices they made for their intimate rustic wedding in the selections from their wedding photography gallery below. I highly encourage you to truly make your day something you will enjoy.
